This year, our theme for Lent is “Service & Commitment”. This is also the theme for this year’s confirmation programme in the parish. It is a timely reminder to us all of our own faith and how we continue to grow and develop in it. Below is a summary of the Lenten Programme in Holy Redeemer:

BOOKLETS ENTITLED “RENEWED FOR LIFE” These booklets containing daily reflections and prayers based on the writings of Henri J. M. Nouwen are available with the Catholic Papers at the door of the Church - €1
REFLECTION CARDS There will be a reflection card available for everyone each Sunday of Lent. This card will have a sentence/phrase from the Sunday readings of that week. It is small enough to fit in a wallet or purse and will act as a reminder to us during the week and provide a point of prayer and reflection for the season of Lent. The card will change weekly and will be available after each Mass on Sunday in a basket by the Lectern. Remember to take one for your wallet or purse.
JOURNEY THROUGH THE NEW TESTAMENT Fr. Enda and his team will bring us on a journey through the New Testament on Mondays 27th Feb, 5th, 12th, 26th March and 2nd April Little Flower Hall 8p.m.

• Lectio Divina Group: Upper Room of the Coffee Dock - Tuesday - 11a.m. to 12noon
• Bray Gathering Charismatic Prayer Group: Little Flower Hall - Wednesday - 8p.m.
• Invitation: to spend an hour with the Lord every 1st Wednesday - Church - 9p.m.
• Adoration Thursdays - Church - after 7p.m. Mass until 8p.m. in preparation for the I.E.C.
• Silent Holy Hour: Side Chapel - Friday - 11a.m. to 12 Noon
• Trocaire Boxes: are available at the doors of the church. Please take one if you have not already received one through the schools
GUIDED PRAYER THROUGH LENT An experience of Guided prayer will be held in Loreto Convent during Lent. It consists of 1 half-hour meeting on one day each week at a time suitable to you.The first sessions will take place during the week beginning Monday 27th February. GIVE UP DRINK FOR LENT Why not take a Short Term Pledge for Lent? Non-Pioneers who would like to give up alcohol for Lent are invited to take a Temporary Pledge for the duration. Please contact Marie at 01 2862415
